I have written a few blogs this year but have not posted anything. Hopefully you can use this blog as a tool for encouragement. I am really in a soft girl era. Embracing the softness of life, I’m basking in gentle moments that bring peace to my soul. The world feels brighter when wrapped in warm, pastel hues and soft, comforting vibes. I’m letting go of the hustle and embracing the stillness of self-care and reflection. Surrounded by kindness, I’m learning to nourish my spirit with all things that make me feel calm and loved.

These first few weeks in January have tried to disrupt my soft girl existence. And I immediately felt frustrated. Sometimes life throws things at us that feel so out of tune with the peaceful flow we want. I had to take a step back, breathe, and give myself grace while I  worked through it. My softness can still shine through even when things feel chaotic—it’s just about finding balance again when the dust settles.

A “soft girl” is a vibe or aesthetic that embodies gentleness, warmth, and an overall cozy, nurturing energy. Embracing things like cool colors, delicate fashion (think skirts, oversized sweaters, cute accessories), and a caring, self-compassionate attitude. The soft girl aesthetic also tends to focus on self-care, kindness, and an appreciation for the simple, calming aspects of life, like nature, tea, and wholesome activities. It’s not just about how you look, but also about embodying a gentle, positive, and thoughtful mindset.

Waking up daily to current events and executive orders that are changing rules, laws and causing chaos is not it. Life has a way of making you question your plans. I was questioning would this be a year like 2020.  Shortly I realized that these were distractions. Distractions can pull us away from our true purpose, making it harder to stay grounded in what truly matters. In a world full of noise, it’s easy to lose focus, but refocusing brings us back to clarity and peace.

Changing my perspective about the good things that did happen in 2020 allowed me to think differently about my choice. If you look at it, in 2020 there were some of us who made a complete stop but there were a lot of us who became millionaires.  I guess you have to make a choice of what you want to do. I am embracing peace , focusing on the things that I love.

I have so many things planned for you guys this year, so many lists, so many new shopping trends, mommy hacks and much more. Hopefully you will join me on my soft girl era…
