For a few years now, I  have held a class on social media, content creation, and how to make money blogging. There are so many people just like me and you who want to know the ins and outs of content creation. And things that are important to get started. I’ve never done this here, but I  figured since my love for writing remains. Let me just sit down and draft out a whole series of content creation and how to make money from it.

First, let’s start with the facts: we are not all going to be successful in content creation. And unfortunately for black women, we are challenged in this area more.  The thing is, we as black women can listen to the advice of any woman, no matter their race, but we don’t often get that same respect. Which sometimes puts us at a disadvantage. But does that mean we give up, or we don’t try? Not at all, there is room for us, and for the past few years, we have been a major success in the field of content creation.

Some of us film videos and post them, and some of us create content. Where is the difference? The difference is that content creation takes risks, opens doors, and teaches lessons. Whereas making a video go viral is a gamble, and one that happens more often than not. But it’s just like playing the lottery, you may win, you may not. In real deal content creation, it takes strategy and confidence.  First, deciding what your niche will be is most important; secondly, how often should I  refer to my niche, and then how often should you post, where you should post, and what are the proper times to post. Again, this takes strategy.

It’s not about the people who happen to scroll across your content; it’s really about those people who are returning visitors. It’s about those who search for you and then share your content. It is about those who engage, whether the dialogue is good or bad.

In the next few weeks, we will go on this journey together.
